Oracle Application Testing Suite (a.k.a OATS) had evolved year on year and had come up with several versions. Each version they have added support for different Browsers, JRE Versions and Windows Operating Systems. Apart from this on each version they have added capabilities, features and increased the stability of the test automation tool.

They had a major re-write in the recognition engine to support test automation of ORACLE EBS Forms, once JAVA 7 had introduced security related enhancements.

      One of the main reasons why we need separate versions is due to the JRE version support of Oracle EBS Forms, which other wise the latest version of OATS should be usable for any needs of test automation. Each customer would be on different version of EBS and each of them might be on different JRE Version and to support based on customer needs we need to have access to download OATS of each version from the list above.
